Nestled in the heart of nature, this quaint hotel provides an ideal retreat for those seeking a direct touch with nature. Surrounded by a nearby park and just a leisurely stroll away from the bustling night market, this location offers endless opportunities for exploration. the friendly staff are fluent in English and go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. the rooms are clean and cozy, with modern bathrooms providing a refreshing retreat after a day of adventure. Wake up to a delicious breakfast spread, with options to suit everyone's taste buds.
The dining area could benefit from a proper table setting rather than eating on the bed.

The best at this hotel is definately its staff. They are kind, helpful, speak fluent English and, in our case, really made the difference. We arrived very late at night and had to catch the train back to Taipei the next afternoon, so we couldn't join a standard tour to Taroko but, thanks to the staff we had a driver that made it possible and could even explore sights that we wouldn't have been able to explore with the tour for the same price! Thank you!!
Breakfast is good and served at the bedroom, the only problem is that it's a bit too little quantity, it's enough but a bit scarce. If you are a big man used to eating a big breakfast, you'll definately won't have enough!

I stayed for 5days/4nights at C'est Jeune. The facilities listed here exceeds my expectations. I look forward to my morning breakfast, selection is limited but everyone is 'oh sooo delicious'. My favourite is the egg roll set and vegetarian sandwich. The coffee bar in the lounge serves a mean cup of freshly brewed coffee. What a nice treat. Good quality towels and linen, I slepted like a baby every single night. Appreciate the free shuttle service to/from train station-saves me a lot of hassle and valuable time to start my holiday straight away. Overall, C'est Jeune is a keeper in my book. Wish there's a chain offering such 5 star service for 3 star pricing. Keep it up , team. Thank you making my holiday in Hualien so much more memorable.
A suggestion - there's a private area near the magazine rack section - that perhaps can provide 1 or 2 internet stations to cater for guests that are long term budget travellars.

The staff was amazing, accommodating, and friendly. They spoke English and recommended great places. The location is perfect, near the park and night market. The taxi driver they arranged was knowledgeable and experienced.
Everything was fantastic.

Very courteous staff and many value added services, such as free shuttle service to train station, bicycle and umbrella for guests to borrow, free flow of coffee and a variety of magazines to read at the lobby.
Location - it is not exactly in town centre

The staff at this hotel were exceptional. They went out of their way to accommodate my needs, even allowing me to check in early with my baby. Their English was great, and they were super friendly. They even helped arrange a taxi driver who had extensive knowledge of the Taroko Gorge, having been doing tours for over 30 years. The staff also recommended an amazing restaurant for me to try.
Nothing to fault.

The room was comfortable, with a soft bed. Breakfast was good, served promptly in our room at the assigned time. The breakfast meals were simple (but not huge), and could be adapted for our needs (like not wanting mayonnaise). It is not far to walk to the beach, or a main street with shops and restaurants. Most of the staff spoke good English. They were very helpful, providing maps and helping us arrange day trips. Value for the price was excellent, and we would highly recommend it.
This is not a problem with the hotel, but something potential travelers should know - the beaches in this area are not swimming beaches. So although you can walk to the ocean from the hotel, it is a narrow, mostly rocky beach with a little sand - nice for the view, and for watching fireworks at night, but not for playing on the sand or in the water. There is a nice walking path along the ocean, and they are doing construction to upgrade the area by the path, so soon, it should be very nice.

Very polite and helpful staff. Almost in the centre of shopping/cultural area. Nice and clean throughout. With discount it is good value for money. Excellent breakfast brought into room. Internet works just fine. 9 out of 10. Recommended.
Not all the members of the staff speak english. Slightly far from train station. Air conditioning unit just above the bed, and fairly noisy, ear- plugs might be required. Not much to do in hotel (we were away all day)

The breakfast had an impressive variety of tasty dishes, and the staff was welcoming and helpful. The location was definitely a plus; near a beautiful park, night market, and an excellent restaurant that we would’ve never found on our own. they arranged for us an experienced and knowledgeable taxi driver that made our trip much more enjoyable.
The distance from the main areas. It was a bit of a walk to reach some of the attractions, but the exercise was good after all the delicious food we ate.

They paid our taxi fare from hotel to the railway station. It was a surprise. They provided bicycles to ride around the area, for free. They provided morning breakfasts, for free. We like the free coffee/tea in the hotel lobby. The price is affordable.
The maps provided to us were not helpful, as it omitted many roads and areas further from the hotel vicinity, like the city outskirts. The wifi range on our hotel floor was limited to a small section of our room.

Although outside of the main town tourist area, the hotel exudes romantic charm with its flower-bedecked small balconies. The service staff were very friendly and the lobby area while small was cosy/inviting to linger. Having breakfast served in the room was an excellent change from the usual dining room experience; it certainly added to the more personalised service.

Staff is very helpful and gives its really best. Location is not the best in the world, but taxis are cheap and the place has an amazing value for money. Can highly recommend it!
